Now Is Good Moment, Monkey Mind No More, Power of Now

Christine speaks often of being still in the mind and being in the moment. This is only the beginning of enlightenment. After that, the experience of knowing the self that you are is ever deepening and the journey never truly ends.

If you would like to meet Christine Breese in person, she offers retreats throughout the year at her retreat center in Ecuador, and also comes to the USA occasionally to hold workshops and retreats.

"Becoming a zen person is not as hard to do as one must think. All one must truly do is ask oneself 'Who am I?' and meditate on this question. I often ask people to answer this question first and foremost, 'Who are you?' which is a question suggested by Ramana and Papaji to ask yourself. Of course everyone knows it's the wrong answer to give when a person begins to recite their human name, their family background, what they do for a living... It doesn't matter if a person knows who they are or if they meditate a lot. They are the Oneself whether they are aware of it or not. Awakening can be experienced simply in knowing that you DON'T know who you are in this moment. When it is simply accepted, the mind stops struggling to understand eternity and the way one lives in it. One doesn't need to know what an aura or chakra is, or who ramana or adyashanti are or be a pilgrim on spiritual journeys. One doesn't need to know what om or zen means, nor does one have to spend hours upon hours meditating in deep meditation, nor does one have to chant om in a zen state. No knowledge is needed at all. All that is necessary is to experience yourself as awareness itself... After that, everything reveals itself." -- Breeze satsang
